Site Visit To Sampang

Boss called me last week, asked me to go site visit to project to be bid in near time. The project is in Sampang a pipeline from Sampang to Pasuruan

I landed in Surabaya Friday night and we were gathered by Project owner, on Saturday morning. After Q&A session we (20+ people from project owner and contractors) went to Sampang

After stopped by in Camplong beach for R&R, we go to Jetty and aboard tug boat.

Safety induction as usual was done and Muster station was introduced

This area is quite hostile, due to fishermen activities for 24 hours a day.

As we arrived on the field, due to safety concern, we cannot aboard the platform, therefore we had to turn around and taking pictures

Taking pictures, served as visual confirmation for what was stated in as-built drawing

This Well Head Platform (WHP) is unmanned, therefore sometimes there is a crew barge awaiting, however this WHP is not in production yet.

A Floating Production unit will be installed in near future and oil will be transferred to Floating Storage Unit.

After take enough picture and try to comprehend the situation, then we were heading to Sampang Again
